I live in Los Burque—been doin’ it for a while. I’m a big fan of Albuquerque, but I’m an even bigger fan of what Albuquerque could be.
Along time ago (circa 1997 to 1999, if memory serves me) I ran another Albuquerque-centric website, Duke City Scene Online. I talked up local bands, shows, and venues. It was fun. It wasn’t profitable. It was a passion. The Weekly Alibi once ran a small blurb on DCSO—I achieved mega-ultra-semi-micro fame for a week. Eventually firing up the FTP client to upload static HTML lost its appeal, and my website died unceremoniously.
